Playful, imperfect and wonderfully different. Meet the friends who make the Land of Love feel like home.
♥The Love Bug
Henry loves everyone. He watches over and protects the four young Love Letters. Nobody appointed him, and nobody knows exactly when or why it began. It simply feels right. Henry keeps caring about someone even when he disagrees with what they did.
Meet Henry Heart →LThe Fixer
Larry is a book nerd and tinkerer. He loves learning, experimenting and taking things apart—even when putting them back together is harder! When LOVE truly needs him, he focuses and finds the right way to solve or fix the problem.
Meet Larry →OThe Defender
Olive is the only girl in the original group: a brave, outgoing, energetic tomboy who jumps into adventures. When someone is in danger, she is usually first to defend them. She can feel afraid and still stand up for others.
Meet Olive →VThe Muscle
Karl is the strongest Love Letter. He always has a grumpy look—even when he is happy! His name is Karl, but his Letter is V! When his friends need him, his grumpiness can fuel his strength.
My name is KARL! There isn’t even a V in Karl!
Meet Karl →EThe Confuser
Evan is the youngest. Everyone goes left; Evan goes right after a butterfly! His unpredictable behavior can confuse danger—and sometimes himself. By noticing different things, he can discover something everyone else missed.
Meet Evan →XThe mischievous troublemaker
Evil X likes pranks, tricks and trying to break up LOVE. He can behave like a bully, but he is not truly evil or frightening. He is always welcome. Sometimes his own behavior leaves him feeling left out. Learning takes time, and Henry never stops caring about him.
You’re always welcome. But what you did wasn’t okay. — Henry

Officer X & Officer O
Friendly community helpers who find lost Letters, solve problems, direct traffic and keep everyone safe. Officer X and Evil X are different people—sharing a Letter can cause some funny mix-ups!
There can be more than one of the same Letter. Names tell them apart.
The Elders
The parents and grandparents of the Land of Love. They raise young Letters, tell stories and teach traditions. Grown-ups learn from children, too.
